Dr. Burgdorf was born and raised in California and attended UCLA, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Classics. He continued his dental training at UCLA, earning his D.D.S. degree while serving as the vice-president of his class. Upon graduation, he earned an award from the department of Oral Pathology for his high achievements in the field. He then attended the Saint Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education, where he received both his Endodontic Certificate as well as a master’s in science degree. His research on radiographic interpretation (dental x-rays) was published in the Journal of Endodontics. Upon completing his endodontic residency in St. Louis, Dr. Burgdorf entered private practice in New York City’s Upper East Side. After practicing for several years, Dr. Burgdorf relocated to Atlanta. He is very excited to be a part of the community and join the world class team at Atlanta Endodontics. Dr. Burgdorf  brings a thorough understanding of endodontic biology, patient-centered outcomes, and an empathetic approach to patient care.

Dr. Burgdorf is board-certified, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
